The Second Epic of Dr Latha RajaShekhar is Yesu Mahadarshana. Considered as the first ever epic poem in kannada on jesus Christ, this work is a milestone in the poetic achievements of Dr. Latha. Described as a distinctive work modern Kannada it is quoted as an example of Dr.Latha’s rich repertoire. The holy Bible occupying the centre stage of this work it offers a series of enlightening insights into the messages of Holy One and his experiences. All the supporting characters in the master work appear as though living amidst us.
Before writing this work Dr. Latha visited the countries like Israel, Egypt, Palestine and also places like Bethlehem, Jerusalem, etc., where Christ lived or wandered to acquaint herself with facts. Called the ‘Fifth Gospel” by our fellow Christian’s, Yesu Mahadarshana, consists of 9 Books and 172 chapters spread over 1000 pages. This work too is getting translated into English.
