The third Epic Basava Mahadarshana would also run into more than 1400 pages. The values cherished by Basaveshvara have been beautifully brought out. Basavanna was the expression of human values of devotion, honesty, truth, service forgiveness and compassion. He was an embodiment of the saying ‘work is worship’. He comes as a messenger to redeem mankind from clutches of caste, creed and religion.
These noble ideals have been most exhaustively described in Dr.Latha’s work.
Thus by creating three Epics, Dr.Latha has come to be described as the ‘wonder’ of the literary world and perhaps thus becomes the only poetess in any language of the world to have achieved this feat!
